Craig Harris' formal are education began at Brigham Young University in 1971 while pursuing dual majors in Fine Arts and Zoology. Although he eventually pursued a Ph.D. in science, art was never far from the forefront of thought and interest.
As a watercolor artist, Craig's favorite subject matter is rural landscapes, those that depict barns, farmhouses, country roads and wilderness settings.
Craig's paintings have been exhibited in national and regional art shows. He has been invited to show his work in local galleries associated with the University of Michigan as well as other local venues designed to showcase his work exclusively.
Craig has a collection of over 240 paintings. A number of paintings are currently found in private and corporate art collections around the world. Dr. Harris is currently a professor of Toxicology at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
Born in Rexburg, Idaho in 1952, Craig and his wife have four children and five grandchildren.
